He always starts these nights out with good intentions, but shit inevitably hits the fan in a rather spectacular way.]

If you could stay happy talking to them you wouldn't need to drag me around. [Geralt flashes Jaskier a tight-lipped smile before following Elissa to another table, with fewer things on it so she can flirt shamelessly with lines like 'So I hear the Witcher plays Gwent'.
Said Witcher might end up playing other things too as long as Jaskier stays out of trouble tonight and the game is intense enough to forget the time.]
