It's strange, my life has been traveling, meeting new people and places for years now but if I had the choice, I would best like to live a quiet life at home surrounded by my family. I never wished for anything else. [ But she will never be able to return, returning would be a death sentence. ]
I might be traveling constantly but I can understand that feeling. Being able to settle and not having to worry about those who care about getting in danger makes a big difference.

Yes. When we all scattered we couldn't travel together, we would have been too easily recognized together. Everybody knew we would never separate if we could help it.

He can heard you from a distance? I know some witches in my world can talk with their thoughts and use that mind reading magic but it's not that common.
I'm not actually certain I will be able to call him. We never had the chance to test it, certainly not at such distance. But our friend could call him and I hope that I can do it, too, and that the distance doesn't matter when spiritual energy is involved.

There would be other ways to call him, too. We have ways of sending messages, I could use my powers on a bird and send it out. But calling him with the flute would be most reliable at such distance.
